Introduction

Radiology and Imaging technology serve as modern medicine's eye. When evaluating injuries from road traffic accident (RTA), falls, and other trauma-related events, radiological imaging is crucial. Our department is a key component of the National Trauma Center.

X- ray

Our OPD and emergency x-ray services are available 24/7. Approximately 160–170 individuals receive X-ray imaging on an average, of which 170 are OPD patients and 80 are emergency and inpatient cases. For patients with trauma or emergency situations, we offer service from a dual detector, state-of-the-art ceiling suspended X-ray machine. We possess two additional High frequency X-ray equipment for OPD X-ray cases.

CT unit

We have a 16-slice CT scan that has been operational 24/7, scanning 20-25 patients .

USG unit

We offer Ultrasonography service for both OPD & emergency cases. Sonography for trauma Efast Scan is done at patients' bedside, and in the intensive care unit. Vascular injuries are evaluated by USG color Doppler. Color Doppler vascular examination, which results in an accurate diagnosis and prompt action saves life and limb.

The Echocardiography service is recently initiated.

DXA Scan

Our center is the first Government Center to start DXA Scan. We provide this service at the lowest cost in the country.
